The fourth edition of the Conference “Beyond the square and the X” about “Vertical mobility for accessibility” will be available online here from 20 March 2020 onwards.
The conference, jointly organized by the Italian society for Architecture Technology, Cluster Environmental accessibility (SidTA) and IUAV University, means to create a meeting space for architecture and elevator technology and explore their multiple connections.
Wittur is among the speakers of the conference and is going to present two video case studies about elevators with Wittur components that offer full accessibility to symbolic environments.
Carlo Ferrari is going to present the Peccioli case: a small town in Tuscany that after installing a new elevator between a multi-storey car park and the town historical centre has started some innovative accessibility projects.
Daniele Rocca is going to present the highest elevator in Europe, connecting structures of the “Aiguille du Midi” cable car on Mont Blanc and whose shaft is carved out of the mount rock.
