Sematic expands its manufacturing plant in Hungary

On Thursday 4 September, the Sematic Group officially opened a new production area in its plant in Nyíregyháza, in the eastern part of Hungary. Approximately 50 attendees, including Sematic top management, representatives of the elevator industry, the local government departments and the financial sector, were present at the event.

Approximately 50 attendees, including Sematic top management, representatives of the elevator industry, the local government departments and the financial sector, were present at the event.

The new manufacturing hub of Sematic Hungaria plant will be dedicated to the production of elevator doors for a wide range of applications, focusing especially on the commodity segment. The new unit will be able to provide highly standardized products with short delivery times, in addition to the top engineering services and wide range of solutions offered, suitable for any vertical transportation project, that have always distinguished Sematic presence in Hungary.

The expansion project represents a further step towards the development of a cutting edge Sematic manufacturing, logistic and expertise center for the entire East-European region.
