Hans Koenigshofer appointed COO of Wittur Group

Wittur Group announced today that effective March 1, Johann (Hans) Koenigshofer was appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Member of the Executive Management Team of Wittur Group.
 
Before joining Wittur in March 2018, Hans worked for Palfinger AG in various positions in Austria and China. He started out in July 2007 as CIO responsible for IT, Process Management and Lean Production. From 2010, he was the responsible General Manager for the EMEA business with direct responsibility for all product development, quality, sourcing and operations. In 2015 he took over the responsibility for Asia and relocated to China. In 2017, he was appointed EVP Operations for all Land business of Palfinger.

In 2015 he took over the responsibility for Asia and relocated to China. In 2017, he was appointed EVP Operations for all Land business of Palfinger.
 
From 2003 to 2007, Hans worked for Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP), manufacturer of power-sports products in Austria and Canada. In Austria, he was Director of Quality, Lean Production and Information Systems. In 2005, he relocated to Canada where he took responsibility as VP of Corporate Manufacturing Strategy, Lean, and Quality Systems.
 
In 2001, Hans joined Schaeffler in Herzogenaurach, Germany, as VP of Supply Chain Management and Director of Program Office. Schaeffler is a manufacturer of bearings, engine components and industrial solutions.
 
From 1987 to 2001, Hans was at ENGEL Injection Molding Machinery, an Austrian family business with worldwide operations. From 1998 to 2001 he relocated to Canada and lead the business transformation for the factories in North America.
 
Hans holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA in Business Information Management.
