In 2019, Wittur was selected as partner for the renovation of 1206 elevators in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
Wittur replaced old elevators with new ones equipped with the latest German technology; several Wittur R&D and production facilities worked as one team to deliver the highest level of service to the people of Azerbaijan.
Thanks to the strategic cooperation of Liftamir İstehsalat Birliyi, the installation of the elevators was completed flawlessly.
The 1206 elevators currently in service have been monitored online since commissioning by means of a state-of-the-art IOT system from the technical centre of Liftamir İstehsalat Birliyi.
After the successful completion of the wave 1 installations, Wittur Group is proud to announce the continuation of this important renovation project for the people of Baku, preparing for the further replacement of 2500 elevators in the coming years.
Wittur considers this as a high priority project and would like to announce that preparations have already started in Wittur plants in Germany, Austria, Italy and Turkey.
