This is the very beginning of the exciting story of Wittur's Austrian plant, which on September 7 hosted a great party for its 50 years anniversary. A milestone moment celebrated by our employees together with many guests, among them local politicians, retired employees, neighbours and suppliers.

During the event, many activities took place and made the evening truly memorable. One of the highlights was the premiere of the jubilee movie about the success story of our Scheibbs plant. A wonderful journey in pictures, from the company's foundation to today, which required lots of effort and countless hours for the selection of the images and the preparation of the story by our colleagues Rosa Reisinger and Michaela Lackinger.
The celebrations included also a heartfelt recognition to three retired employees who started working in Scheibbs plant 50 years ago at the time of its foundation. Michael Bach, Wittur Austria Managing Director and AUT/SLO Cluster Leader, awarded them with a very special gift: a wonderful image of the plant, as it was back in 1968, painted by a local artist.
A great tribute was paid also to one of the most honoured guests of the evening, Karl Lackinger, the retired and former Managing Director and Member of the Executive Management of Scheibbs plant, who spent 37 years in managing positions within the company. During a touching ceremony, he received a special cup made of glass for his outstanding contribution to the company's growth and development.

At the end of the anniversary party, Michael Bach received a unique "Schützenscheibe" (a wooden shooting disc), created by the above mentioned local artist, which will be shot by the local management team during the next weeks and will be then displayed in a special area of the Scheibbs plant, as a memory of the 50 years of the company.
The whole ceremony was accompanied by the live music of a local band and the guests were amused by a delicious catering service, which contributed to creating a very special and unforgettable atmosphere enjoyed by all the participants.
