Working @ Wittur: Career Day @ Higher Technical School of Waidhofen/Ybbs

Wittur Austria participated in the job fair organized by the Higher Technical School in Waidhofen/ Ybbs. 

This school is an important strategic partner for Wittur Austria, in last three years Wittur Austria recruited more than five graduates from HTL Waidhofen. Our Product and Process Engineer SLP - Jakob Resl, Markus Bittermann - Industrial Engineering DMP, and Stefan Meyer - Project Manager & Product Specialist are graduated from Higher Technical School.

During the event they presented their career journey, expressed life @ Wittur to their future colleagues. Christina Bichler, HR supported the team during the event.

Even though the event was mainly dedicated for senior students, junior students showed an interest in presentations, and they are informed regarding internship opportunities.

The students also had the opportunity to see some product samples such as a door mechanism, an over speed governor and safety gears. Our technicians explained the samples in detail.

 At the end of the day, the students became more aware of the potential career opportunities awaiting them at our company and had also the chance to come back home with nice giveaways and marketing materials about Wittur.

It was a successful and exciting day with lots of meaningful conversations with these young and motivated students and future alumni's!
