Sep. 28th 2015, under the lead of Wittur China Purchasing Director Ryan Ren, Wittur China purchasing manager Steven Tian and SQD manager QingYun Wan launched “Supplier Employee Safety Standards” (SESST) Initiative within its three suppliers.

Wittur China provided safety shoes and earplugs to the suppliers according to their different safety conditions. We got positive feedback from supplier employees, they said Wittur China not only bring safety to the elevator passengers but also to its suppliers which shows Wittur pays high attention to the safety and healthy in each aspect.

As the leader in elevator components industry, Wittur always put highest priority to “safety in motion”. It is not only in our product’s safety and continuous pursuit of zero defects, but also in our real care for every employee’s health and safety protection. The SESST – supplier employee safety standards initiative enhanced this safety and health care to a higher level, which moves from “requirement” to an official “standard” and stretched from Wittur ourselves to our supply chain in china – let supplier employees to get right safety and health protection.

China’s manufacturing development has experienced 20 to 30 years till now, it reaches a new starting point now from focusing on profit, efficiency, customer base to care more about process, safety and healthy. People is the fundamental of the eternal power for every enterprise. Caring for people especially operation staff’s safety and health is getting more and more important. Wittur as a member of the elevator components industry deeply feels the importance of safety and health to every elevator passenger and to everyone who produces the elevator.

The SESST event on Sep. 28th is just a start. Wittur China will cover this SESST to all the supply chain in China very soon. We feel it’s our mission to bring the care for safety and health to more and more companies and more and more people.
